Caught my cat licking beer off the floor HELP IM FREAKING OUT!!!

So i was putting glass bottles of beers in a bag for recycling. I accidentally knocked off a beer that still had some in it so I went to get the mop that was in the garage. My cat followed me and she raced me back in to the kitchen but when I caught up to her I saw her licking the floor!!! I'm freaking out right. I immediately grabbed her and tried washing her mouth with water to try to dilute in. I'm worried, I probably won't be able to sleep tonight. Will this harm her? Im so worried right now That something bad will happen to her. What should I do? Right now she's being her annoying crybaby self and attacking my ankles like she always does.

She'll be fine since it was such a small amount. Our last cat used to take a sip or two of alcohol-free beer from my husband's glass. A couple of times he did it with regular beer, and there was either no effect or he slept more soundly than usual.

I agree it's not a big amount, but if it would put your mind at ease, call your vet and ask them if you should bring her in. There is never a wrong time to call your vet.

Well she's fine. I was worried she'd get sick or poisoned. But thank goodness she's ok. I kept checking up on her all night to make sure she was still breathing lol :|
