Kittens for Dummies was just released. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a kitten or two, or three! Dusty did a superb job cracking the kitty kaos code, and the photos are wonderful!

That looks like an interestng book. I saw in the table of contents there is a section on rescuing older cats and caring for orphaned kittens

That would be a perfect book for a new kitten owner
