the mother gave birth in the underground. we let them stay. but problems started when another cat attacked and the mother cat couldn't do much. when we found out it was a bit late and the baby can't move it's back legs and can't walk. so we decided to help her out. it is 8 weeks old now. as we don't have access to good pet priviledge here, we started feeding it cow's milk till i recently found out cow's milk isn't good either. we also force feed it dextrose solution. it seems recovering from injuries, doing a little bit of movement. but the problem is bloated stomach caused by cow milk. we don't have the 'cat replaceable milk' either. what should we do for the bloated belly problem and feed for the energy and nutrient?

At eight weeks the baby should be able to start eating solid food. You can try some canned cat/kitten food with extra water added to make it easier for him/her to lap it up from a dish.

GOAT'S MILK is an excellent choice for cats and kittens if you can get it, and it will help with digestion.  You did not add your location to your profile when you joined yesterday so I don't know where you live.  Often goat's milk can be found in the dairy section of supermarkets, or at health food stores.  Sometimes you can get it fresh from any local farmer who has goats.

You didn't say how long you have had this kitten either, so it's hard to tell if the digestive problem could be due to nerve injury to the spine since you said the kitten could not move its back legs.  You may have to stimulate it to pass feces by wiping its rear end with a warm cotton ball (like the mother would do with her tongue if caring for it).  Its possible this kitten has an injury it cannot recover from, so you should do your best to locate a veterinarian or a farmer who knows something about animals so this poor kitten does not suffer.

thanks for replying. it was in our house from the day it was born. the mother licks it over many times a day when we put her to her mother. so we don't do extra message. the only problem is it is not pooping till yesterday. and i am from a distant country with little pet facilities. went to a vet, he told us to inject some neuro-b and told that it will take long time to recover.
