The past few days I have woken up in an awful mood. Toward so far is the worst. I am walking around with a black cloud over my head and I can't shake it! :lol3:

What do you do to make yourself in a better mood?

If its ongoing, try to eat better? I find myself feeling better after I've eaten healthier meals and snacks, especially the night before.

if I am in a bad mood currently, and I can't hug my cat (IE, I am at work), I look up images that makes me smile.. icanhascheezeburger is a great site for some laughs.

Music helps me too.

Yoga (or mantra/meditation) always puts me in a better mood. Other than that, cuddle the cats or dogs. Playing with the cats never ceases to put a smile on my face.

I drown myself in tv and movies (the feel good kind). And by the time I'm done, I've forgotten why my bad mood was so bad!

If I'm not at home with the babies, I have about 1,000 pictures of them on my phone. That always helps. I also have a short, silly video I took on my phone of Sophie hiding under an upside down cat bed. she starts moving, the bed goes with her and then she sticks her head out from under it. it makes her look like a furry little turtle. It's so cute
That NEVER fails!!

Music for me. Sing along (bonus if your house is big enough that your neighbors can't hear you) like the world owes you.

Take a walk and find a quiet place to just sit. I like to walk along the river and find a quiet bench to sit and just stare at the river. Sometimes I'll walk over to one of the dams and just watch and listen to the water crashing at the bottom of the dam (a small one).

Walking normally helps me. I was going to go for one yesterday and then the thunder and lightning started. :lol3:

Curling up with a cat, an interesting book, a cup of coffee and some chocolate usually helps me. :lol3:

I use several methods.

- Sleeping... a lot

- I try to remember the wonderful things and blessings in my life

- I play with the momma and baby cats!

- I play, clean or arrange with my figure collection. That always makes me happy! Thinking about it just lifted my mood!

- Most importantly, I talk with my friends and they usually manage to make me laugh or shake it off

- I take a walk. browse around stores and not necessarily buy anything. I sometimes spend 30-60 mins in the fabric store just checking out fabrics and notions. It's one of the things I love to do most (apart from playing with baby cats!

My advice would be:

Figure out things you love  to do and try to incorporate those into your life as much as you can.
