Our kitty, Pap, is injured. My sister just saw her in front of our gate, she likes to go outside but something happened yesterday. She was limping and we're not sure if she was hit by a car or attacked by an animal or she just fell. I'm sure she didn't just fall because our gates aren't tall enough. Her right hind paw is the most injured part of her body so I think she was hit on the lower part only. My sister brought our other cat to the vet last year because of a broken bone after falling and the veterinarian told her that they can heal on their own when they pulled a muscle. So she decided not to bring Pap to the vet because she believes she can heal. I'm REALLY REALLY WORRIED about her because she feels hot I don't know if she has fever, she doesn't eat, she only drinks water like ONLY THREE TIMES A DAY. I don't know how to help her since Im not in legal age I cant drive and bring her to the vet and if ever I bring her, I cant afford it on my own. Today she can walk with she limps and when I touch her leg, she meows maybe because it hurts so bad. Please any advice on what food to give her, medicine or vitamins and how to help her in her leg and fever and how to make her feel better. IM SO WORRIED ABOUT OUR KITTY Pap. I love her so I dont want her to die or to suffer but I dont have any choice to bring her to the vet :'(((((

Is your sister your guardian, or do you live with your parents?  If you live with your parents, then you need to be talking to them about Pap, rather than talking to your sister.  If your sister is your guardian, then perhaps you can keep trying to convince her that Pap seems to be in a lot of pain and needs to be seen by a Vet.  Other than that, I don't really know what we can do to help you.  You CANNOT give aspirin or tylenol things like that to a cat.

If your cat feels hotter than usual, she very well may have a fever.  Other signs of fever are loss of appetite, and drinking less.  (these are also signs of pain).

For BOTH of these things, seeing a Vet is the best thing to do.  Maybe you can use this as help to convince whomever that Pap needs to be seen by a professional.  No one wants to see a helpless animal suffer.

As far as eating, how long has it been since Pap has stopped eating?  Cats cannot go too long without food or they can get very sick.  You can try tempting her with some tuna fish and see if that works.  Or try pouring some of the water from a can of tuna over her regular food.

Do you have any other relatives around that might help you if you can't get anywhere with whoever is "in charge"?  All I can say is "keep trying".

Pap is better today, she can sit and she can walk but she is still having a hard time walking because she sometimes fall. She is so thin because she's still not eating. But I gave her whiskas and she ate the sauce only then she drank water. I gave her another snack which has fish and sauce so I crushed the fish so she would eat it but she still didn't want to. I talked to my sister and I asked for LC-Vit because I remember our older cat was prescribed that by the vet when she pulled her muscles. I am hoping that she'll get better soon but she's having a hard time eating and I don't want her to be dehydrated and to die.

My sister is not my guardian but she is the one who's the most able to help me because our aunt doesn't even want Pap to be inside our house. That's why she stays inside our gate but she has access to go outside because our gate has holes so that's where she got her injuries. :'(

She stopped eating for two days but now I think she's very hungry because she meows a lot and she looks for water. She's so thirsty and I keep giving her water. I always put her in her box but she keeps on walking and lying on the ground. She even jumped down from the plantbox so I really can't stop her from doing activities and I'm afraid she would make her leg worse.

But those activities make me feel that her leg is not that bad? I dont know, I'm not really sure what happened to her and I just want assurance that she'll be fine soon. I'm trying to purchase vitamins and such if I can and I hope that LC-Vit is okay to give to Pap.

I can't find much on LC-Vit because it's not sold where I'm located, but it appears to be a vitamin supplement, so i don't see how that could possibly hurt, but she still needs to eat, and if she's' not, then something other than her leg might be wrong with her.  She could have been hit by a car and have internal injuries or something else
.  It' s really impossible for us to know what happened to her, or really how to help her since we don't now what's wrong
.

I does sound like her leg might be getting a little better or I don't think she would be putting any weight on it, and don't think she would be jumping down from up high. Although the fact that she falls over sometimes doesn't sound good.  That could be either her leg, or the fact that she's weak from not eating, or something else

If she seems really thirsty, are you leaving water out for her to drink?  You said she is looking for water...doesn't she have access to it all the time?  She should always have fresh water available to her.

I wish I could tell you what to do here, but I can't tell you anything other than to keep trying to convince your sister and aunt that Pap needs to see a Vet.  If she cannot eat for whatever reason, this will lead to an even worse condition than she is in now.  In the meantime, keep trying to get her to eat small amounts throughout the day

I guess the reason why she was not eating is because of her fever which made her lose her appetite :( , but she eats now :) . Pap is very hungry after not eating for a few days, because last night, I gave her fish in tomato sauce and she likes it. She ate a lot today too. Im happy that she is so much better now. Whenever I feed her she eats almost half of it and drinks so much water. I think her fever is gone because she's walking now more often than 2/3 days ago so I think she's starting to gain back her strength and energy. Although she's still very thin but I know she'll be better if she continues eating. I always guard her when I give her food because she doesn't want to eat when the food is just in front of her. I think she likes it when Im encouraging her to eat using the small plastic spoon so she can smell it first then she'll start eating right away. She's more energetic and looking forward to eat today because when Im handling her plate, she meows a lot and walks around me. She always has a plate of food and water beside her bed but like I said, she only eats when I encourage her.

Yesterday I looked for the LC-Vit and im buying it and Im hoping it will make Pap even healthier and maybe gain additional weight if she has good appetite. She walks more often now because she plays with her mother Patch and she lies down where there is sunlight. She goes to the litter box when she needs to, unlike the last time that she peed on her bed because she cant stand. Im really hoping she would be so much better the next time I tell about her.

Anyways, thanks for all the help and advice! :)  I'll be restricting her to go outside now but she really likes to run all around the place so I guess Im taking away a bit of her freedom :( But I know that will be better for her. Thanks again :)

Thank you very much :)) Our other cat is pregnant and she is now giving birth. I'm nervous and excited. I hope she'll deliver healthy babies. It's her second time being pregnant and I'm sure she'll be fine now because she already has experience. I'm happy:)))
