Hey guys, I have recently switched my cats food to the stuff you get from the vet due to crystals in his pee. We have two cats - Socks and Charlie. Charlie is 3 and Socks is almost 2. Anyways, we switched and the odd time Charlie will throw up after he's finished eating and he keeps peeing and I don't know if it's because I'm not giving him enough and he's hungry or because he doesn't like the food, before they were eating special kitty cat food, and he was fine. Is this something I should call my vet about and switch to something else? Also socks has been fine.

I switched my cats food, now he's peeing everywhere, help!!

Peeing outside the box is indicative of a UTI, NOT that he's hungry.
When they were eating Special Kitty they may not have thrown up, but if one of them had crystals, that was NOT good. I'm not sure which one had crystals and which one is having the throw-ing up issue and which one is peeing outside the box. But either way, peeing outside the box is an indicator that a Vet visit is in order. Did you recently go, though, and it was determined someone had crystals. Were they already peeing outside the box at that point? Were they given any pain meds? I think we may need more information
