Today like at 2 in the morning my cat woke me up wanting food. I went downstairs gave him a little. About 15 later he came back upstairs and started puking. I didn't think much of it, I thought he just ate too fast. I fell back asleep as did he and then he woke up around 530 and threw up bile. I then figured stomach empty. I have him a pecid and then around 630 I gave him food which he ate and then about 15 after that he puked all over again. I did take him to my vet just to get him checked as I didn't want to end up taking him to the emergency room. He's fine now and eating normal and acting normal. The only thing is I think he didn't poop today. Could he have just eaten twice too fast??

I think cats can do that. If you've taken him to the vet and got an all-clear, maybe you don't need to worry.

You might want to give him smaller portions of food, or maybe get an automatic feeder set to feed him at regular intervals, including before you get up in the morning. I understand that cats can throw up bile if their stomachs are too empty.

Best regards.

I used to have a cat that would vomit if she'd not had a pooped.  It could be indigestion.  If he's not on wet food, I'd add some to his diet with a bit of plain canned pumpkin to help him have more regular bowel movements.
