Is it diarrhea! Or normal?

You can take a warm, damp cloth and apply it to her bottom for a few minutes if you can hold her still. A small dab of children's Desitin diaper ointment may help. Do not use anything that is harmful if swallowed.

What are you feeding her?

Its Diarrhea, Because we have her sister and her sisters' Waste is Normal but hers is not like that, We are feeding her Original Whiskas Kitten Dry food and Wet food and she drinks Water often, Right now she is sleeping so when she wakes up i will try the Warm water.

The fact her sister does not have diarrhea indicates that she may have an upset tummy or perhaps worms. Have they been to the vet yet for de-worming or vaccines? If not, I suggest that you take both kittens in as they are old enough.

You could boil some chicken and shred a bit into tiny pieces and offer it to her. It may help to make her stool less soft. Has she over-eaten to get an upset tummy?

The warm cloth may help relieve any swelling.

I still suggest the vet though for a checkup for both. Let us know how it goes.

Ok, I'll take them both to the Vet asap. She just woke up and she is walking fine on her front legs, But her back legs are wobbling when she tries to Walk, She keeps laying down and breathing heavily, When i try to pick her up she will Cry loud and try to scratch, Should i get the Vet to come over and have a look at her?

That sounds pretty bad. I think she needs to see the vet right away if possible.

I'd suggest this might be an emergency and you need to get her to the vet ASAP! I'm guessing she is dehydrated as well. If you have no pedialyte, can you syringe a few drops of honey water or karo syrup or sugar water into her mouth to revive her temporarily?

She definitely needs the vet! Let us know how it goes please!

I agree, its crash emergency.

At very best, its she is dehydrated, weak, and slightly fever because of the diarrheas.  So you may begin with giving some homemade pedialyte as SArthur suggested.

It may also be something really bad.

But its an asap crash emergency vet visit...  It may be question on hours to try and do something.

Good luck!

We took them both to the Vet away! It seems that They both wernt Vacinated, As the Breeder we bought the From never told us anything even when we asked. The Veterinary injected them Both, And theres a 50% Chance that Beauty will Live :sigh: We all have to believe that she will live, Mittens on the Other hand is stonger and she could of caught it but we dont know so were going back to the Vet tomorrow morning for the Outcome, Please keep the both in your Minds.

Glad you went to the vet! Is the vet keeping the kitten overnight who had the diarrhea and was weak, or running blood tests to see what's wrong?

Besides the vaccines, did the vet put your weak kitten on any medicine? Did he say what the illness is?

I pray they both are doing well! I'd like to know a bit more on the questions I asked if you don't mind. :)

Oh well, He wont be keeping them Overnight, He told us to put a Hot Water bottle on her to keep her temperature, Because she has a very low temperature, He injected her with 1 Medicine, And kept her calm, She has an illness begging with 'V' cabt remeber, Were just all worried right now, Mittens is keeping her sister calm, And i just Pray Beauty will make it, We will have an appointment tomorrow morning at 9:30 so he will see the outcome of the Medicine he injected and he said just keep her Warm. I'll post a picture of them Both soon.

Proceed to give the weak one fluids, bought or home made pedialyte.

It shall contain glucose sugar and some salt in its most basic form of the pedialyte.

If you havent glucose sugar =dextrose, you can use white caro syrup or honey.

Common kitchen salt is OK, but if you can get a so called minerale salt, ist even better.

Dosages may be:

1litre water,

1,5 soup spoon sugar source,

1 tea spoon salt

Boil up and stir, cool down to body temp

Or you can use  some good minerael water as base - its contain lotsa of good different salts.

Add the equivalent of sugar source as above - half soup spoon on a typical 33 cl bottle -

Stir and warm up some - making the gases go out...

Use.

It helps her with the electrolytes, and is by itself somewhat a stopper of diarrhea.   It helps with the deydration too...

If she doesnt drink herself, try and entice her, or even forceffed with a dropper in the corner of her mouth, tummy down head up, corner of the mouth so she swallows.

It may be easier if you are two, one holds, one gives.

Yes, as Stefan said, if she doesn't drink or eat wet food on her own, do give her drops of pedialyte or honey water or sugar water in the side of her mouth. It is very important that she has fluids to stay hydrated!

Praying that the injection will help your kitten to survive. I am so proud of you for getting them both to the vet as quickly as you did! Sometimes kittens can surprise us at how feisty and resilient they can be in terms of surviving the odds! :)

I wonder why the sent Beauty home in that condition? Why wouldn't they give sub-q fluids at least especially in a kitten that young?
