My 5 month old kitten Dexter has had severe Diarrhea since we purchased him. he was tested for all the parasites and it was negative and we had him on special vet prescribed food. We thought he had a food allergy but he still had severe diarrhea even on Hypoallergenic canned food.

So a couple of nights ago Dexter had diarrhea like usual, but within 2 minutes we noticed a trail of blood down the hallway. We freaked out! Dexter was leaking pure blood from his rectum. We immediately took him to VCA Emergency vet clinic. They said it was due to his Diarrhea and think that he might have (TF) aka a rare parasite, which are common among cattery cats.

The vet prescribed him Metronidazole. We fed him the medicine and MAN he HATES it!

So the next morning we noticed he hasn't touched his food. And noticed it till that night, nothing. He wasn't eating at all. So we called the vet and said to try him on baby food to see if that will work. We bought the Gerber pure beef one and he ate like half a can. And noticed that night Dexter had a semi solid poop FINALLY after 3 months of having him. Ok great right... nope. The next day he decided not to eat anything again even the baby food. He picked up the habit of looking at his food then trying to cover it up without even touching it. He now will look at the food and instantly try and cover it up.

Now we noticed the tips of his ears are purple, like kinda brownish purple and don't know why, is it the medicine?!?

So today he won't eat anything and he went poop and its brown water that comes out and he sleeps all day. and while I'm writing this now he threw up which he never has done before.

What is wrong with my baby?!?!?

Bengals are notorious for having loose, even liquid stools. That isn't to say it should be considered normal, it definitely isn't. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any one cause or any one solution. You definitely need to rule out parasites first. After that, food intolerances are a possible culprit. In the case of my Bengal, Coco, after months of problems just as you describe and of trying many, many different foods I finally found that if I used a product called Eagle Pack Holistic Solutions she would have perfect stools. It only took a day or two of adding it to her food for me to see a big difference. Using it she was able to eat any food with no problem. I've since switched to a raw diet and she doesn't need the HS any more.
