So im new here, and I have some questions. First off, my cat is about a year old and I believe she is due at any time. I checked her temp twice yesterday, the first time it was 99.5 then a couple hours later 98.7. Shes been real clingy and licks everything, even me lol. Its been 16 hours since her temp dropped but I dont see any signs of labor. I looked at her lady parts about 45 mins ago and noticed yellowish discharge, possibly a mucous plug. I guess my question is whats the timeline for labor/birth and what do I need to expect? Thanks!

Temp dropped 17 hours ago and still no labor but discharge and licking. Shouldnt she be pushing by now or something? I dont want anything to be wrong! Need quick run over labor & delivery plz!

I'm not fully sure but I don't think temp is a major sign, has she got milk yet? My cat had her babies yesterday I had zero signs except a drop of milk when I squeezed her teat the night before

Relax and let her labor run its course. From what you describe everything is going as it should. She will likely give birth in the next day or so. When you see her sides rippling, she is having contractions. Everything is fine though. The discharge and licking indicate that she is very close - likely even in pre-labor now. Be patient! :)

Posted earlier thread and no response my queen is due anytime, temp dropped 17 hours ago and still no labor but discharge and licking. Shouldnt she be pushing by now or something? I dont want anything to be wrong! Need quick run over labor & delivery plz!
Temp dropping is common shortly before delivery, about 24 ours before, but its no ironclad sign, and te timetable not ironclad either.   So its apparently nearing and prob very close, but its still te waiting game... Be sure se is unstressed, including - be yourself calm.  It elps  her to take it easy - and deliver...

Good luck!
