My Lizzy Kitty escaped and surprise... Came back pregnant... I have no idea what to expect as I have never dealt with anything like this.. I am an anxious mess following her around because with my luck she will pick to lay in my furniture or my babies bed??!! I am not sure when the exact day was and am wondering if someone can help me decide how much longer she may have... I can feel and see her babies moving, her nipples are giant and with the flakey white tips... Her belly seems a little harder than normal. Her appetite hasn't really decreased and she is still like playing around but sleeps a lot more. i haven't noticed a discharge but she has been doing a little more licking, I made her the nesting place but she goes in and comes right back out! Someone help me!!! I can't wait for the kitties but the horrible dreams of her not being ok the last couple of nights... I can't do it much longer... Thanks in advance for any advice.
Crazy momma cats momma...

Sounds like it was with my cat, she had 4 babies yesterday, her appetite never decreased, never saw discharge and she didn't really bother with any of the nest boxes until contractions started. My vet told me to squeeze a teat each day and when milk comes out then she will give birth in the next 24-48 hours. If I hadn't of done that I wouldn't of had a clue lol. I got a drop of milk Monday tea time and 7am Tuesday baby one arrived. It was all over by 10am too

Sounds like it will be soon. It's difficult to put an exact time on it. The best thing you can do really is to try to relax and stay calm. She will likely let you know when her labor pains start. Hang in there! Cats give birth with no problems all the time. Close the door if you don't want her in your baby's room. Keep us posted! :)

Cat pregnancy averages 65 days, so if you know the days she was out, that gives you an idea within a few days.

I don't remember...I could have sworn I wrote it down but just cause I am looking for what I possibly could have wrote it on I can't find it... I am thinking within the next few days she will be a momma... I am just so anxious and worried I am going to miss the signs or?? I have read every forum... Every site I could find and thy all say the same things basically. She so badly wants to go outside and makes outrageous howling noises at the door... As soon as it opens she jets out... It's been hard to keep her in. She loves it outside chasing squirrels up trees and all the bugs, it honestly funny sometimes watching her. That hasn't stopped. Just yesterday she was jumping up a tree trunk... So I am hoping to keep her safely inside. Going home to check for milk and will update post along our journey. Thank you

Please keep her in now no matter what, or she may disappear and birth her kittens outside where you cannot find them. After she has them, she also needs to be kept inside for many weeks in order to nurse and care for her kittens. :)

I have warned the children to not let her out.. But kids are kids and like I said she jets out before u even see she's there. Trust me, I don't want her to have them outside... I am way to anxious to let her out of my sight and get paranoid when she doesn't come running when I move. I just wish I had a more precise time of when she was out. It's drivin me nuts not knowing when or even more so where she will decide she wants to have them. Any advice helps;)

Temp was at 99.2 in her armpit... But she was a little wiggly too so might not be accurate. Not sure but I hope they come soon. I have been on forum after forum site after site trying to prepare but nothing is settling my mind.

Have you any idea at all when she was out? What part of April? That would help to figure it out.

She may have another couple of weeks to go from what you describe. Especially if she was out in mid to late April. Do you remember how long ago you noticed her nipples getting pink?

I have tried going back and reviewed pics and stuff and it had to have been early to mid April. I am figuring she has about 10-20 days left. It's been a while since nipples have been pink... Beginning of May... I have this pic taken on May 14 and they were pink then.... ??? Thanks again;) so eager!!!

So, if her nipples were rosy in early May she would have been about 3 weeks along then, which means she is probably in or near her 8th week. My guess is that she's got a couple of weeks left.

Temp dropped slightly... But she wasn't really cooperative either... It read 97.9 under her arm... She attached my hand so was unable to check for milk but has been choosing to lay on the tile kitchen floor versus the carpet or her favorite spot in the chair... Hoping that means we are getting really close. Also looks as tho she is not as round as she was so wondering if the babies are making their journey down the birth canal. Can't wait:)

It's possible! If she got out early April then it is surely getting close. However, temperature alone is not always the perfect indicator. Have you noticed if she is dilating or having any discharge? If she has dropped it may be a matter of a couple of days until birth. :)

Like we said before, not knowing when she mated, it could be soon, or up to a couple more weeks. You may be over-analyzing, and I know you are stressing too much! Try to be patient! :)

Totally agree, unfortunately it's out of our hands and up to Mother Nature as to when and what happens! I'm not gonna lie, im anxious, excited, worried. I'm pretty lucky in that I know when she was caught so can narrow it down to at least the week, even then that ain't set in stone! TBH I'm enjoying her being pregnant and watching them wriggle around in her tummy, she has been amazing so far and pray she accepts them when finally born. I have another queen (tabatha) who has decided to vacate the dogs basket (much to the dogs delight) and take up residency in the kitten box??!!!

As of today we are @ 57 days, her tummy has def dropped as can now see the definition of her back/spine, she is very sleepy, always crying for food when I open the cupboard but is definitely not eating as much (more little and often now)

We are just playing the waiting game now x

I'm almost convinced your little lady is pretty much on date with mine, although her tummy does not look as big, but that could be down to the litter size! I suspect we may have 4/5 - time will tell!!

PLEASE JUST ENJOY HER AND KEEP US POSTED!! [emoji]9786[/emoji]️
