Cat mamas tend to become very vocal after they have babies - meowing and trilling. You'll get used to hearing it. She's talking to her babies and she's talking to you about her babies. And also wanting extra attention and acknowledgement! :)

It may be best to keep the other cats away when she goes into labor. If her first choice is your bedroom, then yes, put her nest in there with food, water, and litter just for her.

You may want to plan on keeping the other cats away for a couple of weeks, until thie kittens are older.

Sounds like she has dropped and the kittens are moving to the birth canal. Does she look slightly thinner?

how much longer seems ages we have been waiting
Yeah, I know...

A consolation is, as there are so many forumists in similiar situation, and the cats have seldom complications surely related with a long pregnancy, the conclusion is given:

Cats seems to manage a too long pregnancy better than humans.

To be honest.  I cant say there are never complications with too long pregnancis in cats.  Surely they happen.   But as complications happens in all variations if you are unlucky,  there is no decisive statistics for dangers with long pregnanies.

I mean, I have been on this site and Forum for 10 years.

I know this is no good consolation. But still, this is not as dangerous as the equvalent situation with a human woman and baby.
