Could use some advice, husband found kitten on the side of the road today, My guess she is about 3 1/2 to 4 weeks old, she took the first two bottles today, with no problem,  but cannot get her to eat, its been 7 hours and she refuses..

What should I do to get her to eat?

What exactly did you gave her?

Eating the two first bottles without problems hints she perhaps got a gassy stomach, or something such.

Otherwise, a needleless syringe is often easier, but she DID take the bottle, so its another reason for refusal here.

Did she made any pee and poo?   Being filled up by poo would make anybody non hungry...

Answer, and I shall continue to write, Im sonn coming back.

You had stimulated her properly?  Even a basic tapping woth forefinger on the private parts may work...   Anyway, work on the elimination, Im going out now, but we have several recent treads about it...  Try to give her water via a syringe, it helps often...  tummy down, head up, corner of the mouth...

Get home glucose sugar or white caro syrup, it may be useful on weak kittens.

Home later on.

I just made an appointment for this Morning, My husband is going to take her up there and see what the vet says, I think I would just feel better having the vet check this girl out, also can find out the true age of how old,, will post more when I find out,

Kitten saw the vet this Morning, she had a very hard stool, they had to get out, and after that she went twice at the vets, It also helped with her peeing, she said that yes she is about 3 1/2 weeks to 4 weeks old, and very healthy...

Good that she was seen by the vet and they were able to empty her bowels and get her going! Let's hope she continues to do well now. Is she eating again now?
