small scab under skin

Hello,

When I pet my kittens back of his neck there's a little small black thing that might be a scab/blood mark.  He was recently fixed do they inject him and leave a little blood scab.  He's not too sensitive to me touching it.  Could it be a mole or something I have to have checked out.  Any ideas?

I would call the veterinarian and ask them to recheck my cat.

Mine charges very little sometimes nothing if the last visit was pretty recent.

Did you have him microchipped?  I wonder if it might be that? 

YES!  And I"m so glad you said that because I almost added to my original question that I felt a random small bone that seemed very weird- and then I thought I'd wait on that question because I thought I'm being paranoid about things.  Thanks for easing my mind!

Oh and I meant the bone thing now I realize is the microchip.  :-)
