Please help! My cat had her 5 kittens May 21. 3 of them lived. Two kittens have died last wednesday and thursday. The only kitten left has not been eating as much as usual today. He ate very little almost 4 hours ago and now he is refusing to eat. I took him to the vet on Friday and they gave him some vitamins and fluids. He was just a little dehydrated. But it scared me because he was always very active then he was just acting like he had little energy and was having the same symptoms as the other two before they died. Sorry if this is all over the place, just trying to cover all of the details. He was fine yesterday. He just hasnt been eating much as usual and now he is refusing. And he has been crying also. Meowing alot. I have been feeding him every 2-3 hours

Momma cat did not want anything to do with the babies when born.

So you are hand feeding them. That was my first question. Are you feeding KMR (kitten milk replacement) formula? And how much per feeding? And are you using bottle or syringe? And are you burping and pottying him after each feeding? And does he eliminate? And is he being kept warm on a heating pad? And is he coughing or breathing heavily (wondering if he has pneumonia from getting milk in his lungs). They must be fed on their tummy, head up, couple drops in the side of the mouth, swallow, breathe, go again.

Please try to give him drops of pedialyte in the side of his mouth. He must have fluid. Also, make sure he is warm and comforted no matter which path he takes. Waiting for your answer. And sadly, many orphans do not make it for different reasons.

Addinjg to SArthurs questions.  Do yu use bottle or syringe?  Syringe is easier, if you know how.

Smear a little glucose sugar on her gum. If you dont have glucose sugar =dextrose, white caro syrup or honey works too...  It gives some energy...

What you describe is of course a crisis, it may be the end.  But hopefully, it can turn aroudn if you are vigorous enough.
