I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on these two brands of cat food. Particularly the canned formulas. If someone could maybe look into them and give me some feedback that would be great! My cat is currently on authority and I am considering switching to go! but I am concerned because it has some stuff like rosemary and yucca extract which i have heard is actually not good at all. So all things considered which one do you think is the better/safer food. All advice appreciated,Thanks!

I personally like the look at Go more than Authority. The rosemary and yucca are low on the ingredient list. Is your cat picky? You can always offer a wide variety of canned, instead of just the one brand. My cat prefers variety so I rotate between 3-4 brands of wet throughout the week - different proteins too!

Thanks for looking into it for me! How do you rotate different brands without upsetting their systems?

With wet food, my cat doesn't have a problem with it. I use a full 6oz can per day, so everyday is a different can. Sometimes chicken, turkey, rabbit etc. She always handled the change well. I've heard that some cats eat 1 brand for a week, then switch. Some eat the same for a month, then switch. Every cat is different :)

I change with each meal. I figured what they like and I rotate textures, proteins and brands. Chicken, duck, turkey, rabbit and occasional tuna. I feed shreds, morsels, pate and chunks. It is dry food (which I do not feed) that you have to be careful when changing.
