Hello everyone! I'm a new kitten owner, still learning the ropes but doing plenty of research as I go. I take a lot of pictures of my furbabies and talk about them to everyone and a lot of the people I know aren't as happy to talk about kitten behavior, the best kitten food, whether their poop looks normal, etc. My mother has been making fun of me saying I worry as much about my kittens as my sister does about her kids
And here is a picture of my sleepy snugglebugs

If you can't tell I'm sort crazy in love with them

They are gorgeous :heart3:

One thing in your post concerns me - you say you let them play with your hands. That needs to stop now. It's cute with tiny kittens, but not with full grown cats. It can lead to big problems later on. Play is fantastic for them, but please use appropriate toys with them. You really are spoilt for choice when it comes to cat toys, so have fun picking some out!

With food - wet food really is healthier for them than dry, imo. You say Vivian gets sick from wet - that is most likely because she's sensitive or allergic to one or more of its ingredients. I know Carageenan can cause digestive issues, as can some of the other thickeners. It's a case of experimenting with different brands/flavours until you find one they both can eat. You'll be able to get s lot of help with foods/feeding in the Cat Nutrition forum.

Ok, *getting off my soapbox now * ;)

So...Hi :wavey: Welcome to TCS.

Welcome to TCS :wavey:

They are two beautiful babies :D

I can't make out on the pictures if they have tabby stripes. If they have they would be classed as "Blue tabby and white domestic longhairs"
If no tabby markings they would be " Blue and White Bicolor domestic longhairs"

GemsGem GemsGem I can't make out any tabby markings - the 'textures' of blue in their coats are exactly like the textures in my blue boy. I'm thinking blue and white bicolour too.

Thanks everyone! :)

I thought they were longhairs, but I seen some kittens being called shorthairs that looked pretty fluffy to me so I wasn't sure

Violet is always so messy after she eats the wet food, getting it all over her face she looks some pitiful right now I almost want to clean it for her but shes cleaning herself as I type this haha

Thru are gorgeous. You enjoy them and don't worry about your mum laughing at you. These are your babies.
