Greetings from a newbie!

Hello everyone! I'm new here. I look forward to making friends with other cat enthusiasts. I have two Maine Coons, George and Susan, who are 13 months old. They are the loves of my life. They have had a lot of health problems since I rescued them at 4 weeks from a breeder who was shut down due to unsanitary conditions and over crowding. They came to me with giardia which took MONTHS to get rid of, an eye infection, and an upper respiratory infection. It has only been in the past couple of months have I finally been able to get them mostly healthy. George still has a runny eye which the vet says is from scar tissue and not because his eye is still infected. I had to fool around with their food and meds for a while before I found a combination that didn't have one or both of them throwing up or having diarrhea. Hopefully we are settling in for a healthy happy rest of their lives! Everyone is sick of me going on about my cats all the time and sharing a million pictures, so I figure this is a good place for us. :-)

This computer is not letting me upload pictures at the moment for some reason, but when I'm on my home one I will share some pictures. I welcome any facebook friends also. I have lots of pictures on there. Look forward to getting to know you!

Yup, my avatar is George and Susan at 4 weeks when I got them. They're a lot bigger now! Let's see if this will let me do pictures.

Thank you so much! I love them so much it's ridiculous. I can't believe anyone would choose to be a breeder and then mistreat their animals. They are super loved and spoiled now. I love on them and play with them all the time. They have had a ton of health problems but are just about healthy now at 13 months old. :-)

Last night a bug flew into my bedroom and all three of us were trying to catch it! It was pretty funny.
