my cat loves his new bed more than he loves me.

Oh, dear, I've created a catbed monster. My sister bought my Robin a new cat bed, and I knew he'd love it because it's velvety and he loves that texture. So I put it on "his" chair...because it's dark and always had cat fur everywhere...and now my cat won't snuggle with me on the sofa at ALL. I don't need advice, I could bribe the little brat by putting the bed on the sofa, but what I want (hear me whine lol) is for my cat to say (just once), "mommy I love you more than my new snugglicious bed" which he can't help but love more than me. Obviously. (Wipes tears).

Here's some pics. Notice he lounges like he's George Clooney at the Playboy mansion. And the chair...it's supposed to be in my bedroom, except after I got it my cat immediately flopped down and claimed it. So now it's by my front door so my lounge lizard doesn't have to walk too far to greet me when I come home. (Kidding--he sleeps there anyway, wailing the second he hears me enter the apartment house.)

Ps for anyone who's interested, the pet bed is from Boscovs, cost $9.99, and is washable.

Always. Robin HATES having his picture taken; I think he sees the lens on my phone as some kind of weird one-eyed monster peering at him. Thank you for the compliment. He is gorgeous. And he knows it lol.

It's okay. Once he realizes the cat bed doesn't put wet food down or gives him furry mice to chase, he'll come back to you. Then you can play hard to get and ignore *him*.
