Hello everybody :wavey: we had a litter of kittens..british shorthair kittens to be exact and i would just like to ask what colour do you say this 1 kitten is? His name is Falco..his mother is a black smoke and father is a self cream with chocolate point in the bloodline,at first we was thinking Falco was a black smoke like his mother but he looks a shade lighter and almost chocolate yet not as chocolate as some pics of other british shorthairs i have seen...so now i think he is a chocolate smoke.Any help here is much appreciated thank you.

It's a bit difficult to say. The first 2 pictures he seems black, the 3rd picture however seems chocolate, the 4th picture is somewhere in the middle. I assume the last 2 pictures were taken with a flash? Which picture would you say resembles his real color more: the first picture, or the 3rd picture?

Looking at the 3rd picture solely, because the rest is just confusing me, I'd say he's a chocolate.

Does he have any black siblings? Maybe you can place him next to them and make another picture from top. If we could see the difference and compare with a real black one, it'd be easier :) Pictures can really change a color, and the difference between black and chocolate can be really slim, but also a lot more. This one is either a very dark chocolate, or a black (which can turn slightly brownish).
