Cat waking me up at night

I've been having issues with my cat waking me up at night for quite a while now. She loves to wake me up around 2:00 am and multiple other times. I've been doing some research and have read that getting her energy out before bed is a good idea, so I plan to do that. However, she also loves to wake me up around 5:00 am, and around this time, I usually cave in and feed her. I realize that this could be bad as she is getting a positive reaction from me waking up and feeding her. I live in a large 1 bedroom apartment, but the bedroom has no door! Therefore, I can't keep her out of the bedroom when she starts to wake me up. I wonder if she wakes me up late at night (around 2:00 am) because she wants to be fed. I feed her only wet food, and I feed her twice a day.

Any suggestions on how I can get a full nights rest?

How old is she and how much food does she eat?

You can try to create a play, eat, sleep routine with her; giving her her final meal right before you go to bed; after wearing her out with a good play session.  After that; ignore ignore ignore!  She's got a bad habit of waking you; ignoring it consistently is usually required to break a cat of this.

She is 2 (almost 3) years old. I feed her 3 ounces per meal, so a total of 6 ounces (as directed by her food, Wellness).

I feed her in the morning (typically when she wakes me up between 5 - 6 am) and then again at night around 7:00 pm. I could try splitting up her last meal and doing something like:

6 am - 3 oz.

6 pm - 1.5 oz

11 pm - 1.5 oz

Thanks!
