What would you call this guy's coloring?

This is a little guy I'm currently fostering:

He was abandoned by his mother, when she relocated the rest of his litter and left him behind, so I have no idea what his mother or his siblings look like. I think he's very striking, and though he's not quite 4-weeks old, he's already been adopted  just based on his photos.  Of course, we won't let him go to his new home until he's big enough to be neutered.

I am not sure, never saw one quite like him. He's a very handsome cat. Possibly some kind of frosted coloring, he looks like he has a gray body, black tail, black legs, white feet and tuxedo face. Very cute. Thank you for caring for him and for getting him neutered when he is old enough.

I think the greyish over his body is the so called  fever coat.   His mom had prob some infection when e was a foetus.  As he is apparently very healthy, it had no other consequences for him than this coat.  And tis will disappear with time, without leaving any negative traces.

Observe, this fever coat makes him looks almost alike a point.  But we know he cant be no point, true point are born  fair-skinned, NOT dark.

I think his normal basic coloring is black with white, or tuxedo as tey usually say.  Very handsome, with these gloves, socks and nose-piece.   :)

Thanks @StefanZ. That's very interesting, I've never heard of fever coat before. I'm wondering if I should mention it to the adopter. I'd hate for her to lose interest in him down the road because his unique coloring changes.

Yes, if she adopts him because of the coloring, its not proper not to say anything.   If that is SO touchy, you shall perhaps not mention the word fever coat, so she doesnt think its some fault with him, nor waiting health problems.  Because we honestly think and believe  its no danger nor real fault on him.

Just mention the carefully variation of the truth - he isnt no true point, althoug he does looks asa  point of sorts at this moment.   And because he is no true point, he will get black all over on the black parts.   What we will have left when he is adult, is this very nice, sweet and even handsome tuxedo pattern,  with gloves, socks and this little nose piece as extras.
