I was wondering

I had read somewhere maybe on this site that a pregnant women has a different scent to her cats than before she got pregnant. Simon has always slept with me and I have been pregnant since I got him. After I have the baby will he still sleep with me and love me the same? I read that some cats hiss and act funny around there owner after they get pregnant. Simon has only know me when I have been pregnant. Does anyone know this answer or heard this info before?

Cats tend to react to our emotional changes. When pregnant, there are ALOT of these things going on. They all can react different. Some can become more affectionate, some will become distant or some will not change at all. As for after the baby is born, the 2 big things are "jealousy" or just the change of rolls in the house. Change to most cats is unthinkable. For the most part, any cat given time and understanding will adjust to the new arrival and changes. Of course there are those cats who never were effected in the first place.
