Yum. I love breakfast. in a world without diets I would eat two slices toast buttered. 2 slices tasty cheese, baked beans and bacon. This week I've been having 2 fried eggs with cherry tomatoes. It would be yummier with toast :D

Boy this thread makes me hungry!

When I was working and in school I either skipped breakfast or ate something on the run.  Now that I'm home with my kiddos I usually eat something; but I've been up for a bit by then.  I get my shower and feed everyone, do the cats meds, etc before I get to eating.  The fanciest i get is an egg sandwich.  I just got a microwave egg cooker from Pampered Chef that i need to try out.  That might simplify my morning breakfasts!  I feel like if I eat a decent breakfast; I'm not tempted to snack before lunch.

Hmm... How to describe it...  Are you familiar with Pampered Chef products at all?  I'm not sure if they are sold outside the US or popular anywhere else.  They have a line of bakeware type products that are "stone."  I'm not totally sure what it's made of to be honest.  The Pizza Stone is the most popular I think.  It heats evenly and helps things cook light and crispy.  This is the egg cooker : Microwave Egg Cooker.  They did a demonstration with it a a cooking party i went to and it looked great.  I love egg sandwiches in the morning.  This is supposed to cook your eggs; how you like them, very quickly.

When I lived in a shared house with a bunch of other students we got into the habit of making each other a special breakfast on our birthdays. We used to have champagne, fresh strawberries with cream and hot buttered croissants. I lived with three other girls so that meant I got champagne for breakfast four times a year!

Omelets with homefries and toast are my favorite, but I don't have them very often.

  We go about celebrating birthdays all wrong here!  Now can someone tell me how to pick a good champagne?
 (That I won't go broke on!)
@MoochNNoodles

can you fry or poach eggs on it? What does it look like!
It says you can poach, scramble or "fry."  I like the idea of being able to cook eggs with less butter an things.  I forgot and had a bagel for breakfast this morning but maybe I'll try poaching an egg or two at lunch.  That sounds really good right now!  The stoneware is microwave, oven and freezer safe (but not dishwasher safe) and I see a recipe for a mini quiche; so it looks more versatile than "just" for cooking eggs.  The lady who did the cooking demonstration added diced tomato and fresh spinach to the eggs and made it more like an omelet.  I'm sure I can get creative and get a lot of use out of it!  I'll have to take some pictures.
