What is your favorite breakfast food?  I'm talking about what you enjoy when you have time to enjoy breakfast!

For me; it's pancakes, eggs (either scrambled with some cheese or fried), hashbrowns, bacon and diced melon or other fresh fruit!  Sometimes we will cook like this for dinner.  If we eat out at a restaurant like Bob Evans or Ihop; this is generally what I order!

I don't really like breakfast foods... for breakfast. But I love them when we have dinner... not always together of course but.. Waffles or French Toast.. I'll definitely choose French Toast over Waffles lol.. my mom makes the best. I like bacon, toast (with peanut butter & jelly) if we don't have waffles or french toast but I do love waffles or french toast with nutella.. sometimes I'll eat sausage but not always (depends on my mood) and sometimes fried potatoes, fried potato slices & hashbrowns as well. And I either have scrambled eggs or a good omelette with cheese not a bunch of stuff just cheese.

Honestly I like cereal (different kinds of course) for my breakfast as I can't eat much after I get up. It isn't because I don't have time but I'll usually grab cereal and a banana for my breakfast. That's what I like the best. I have never been a huge breakfast food person.. except when it's for brunch or dinner.

When I lived in a shared house with a bunch of other students we got into the habit of making each other a special breakfast on our birthdays. We used to have champagne, fresh strawberries with cream and hot buttered croissants. I lived with three other girls so that meant I got champagne for breakfast four times a year!

Those were the days.......

Most days it's a bowl of cereal with milk on the side. Or a cookie. It's really the only thing my stomach can handle first thing after I wake up
For something closer to brunch time, I like something more along the lines of french toast and waffles and blueberry muffins or something a bit savory like one of those Panera Bread cafe souffle things.

A veggie omelet with a big glass of OJ and lots and lots of coffee. Maybe a slice of sourdough toast. And some fresh fruit. That works for me. I never have time for breakfast, though, so my real breakfast is usually a sliced Granny Smith apple around 9:00 in the morning at my desk at work.

Rick is staying with his parents right now; his father has some bad health issues and his parents cannot be left alone. Until we can get somebody to come in to stay at night, Rick and his sister are staying there. He texted me yesterday morning to say that he had bowl of Sugar Frosted Flakes for breakfast. He said it was a good sugar high.
Our cold cereal is usually Frosted Mini Wheats because that's Tabby's favorite cereal.

Whatever I'm in the mood for :D

Saturday was an everything bagel with cream cheese.

Yesterday, was a spinach and goat cheese omelet with rye toast.

The day before, was waffles with fresh strawberries in the batter.  A bit of real maple syrup on top - not too much.  I don't like them soaked.

Today, I think I'm making oatmeal with the last of the fresh berries.

I like variety.  I'm also motivated by what's in the fridge. But my "go to" is usually a bagel with something on it.  It's my usual office breakfast because it's quick and easy to eat at my desk.

My favorite breakfast type meal is a ham and cheese omelet with toast.  I usually don't have it at breakfast time though.  Breakfast is usually either a bagel with cream cheese or cold cereal.  In the summer when I can get good fresh fruit from a farmers market I also have that for breakfast.

Mmm, I love breakfast food.

I'm going to have to say my favorite thing for breakfast is.... a fresh plate of fruit (strawberries, melon, grapes, whatever else might be in the fridge), a bowl of cereal or some chocolate chip pancakes.

Bagel with lox and cream cheese --- or a buttered croissant.

Yep, me, too.  Maybe some champagne with the OJ.

Bagels (the New York kind, not the mushy things passed off as bagels elsewhere) with pimento cream cheese. French toast as an alternative.

We have a Kosher deli here in Columbus and they make the best bagels.  I go there a couple of times a month for bagels, the rest of the time I get them at the grocery store.  The others here are kind of like doughnut shaped pieces of bread rather than bagels.

eggs benedict. yum. I also love sunny side up or over easy eggs with crispy bacon, home fries with onions and jalapenos and rye toast. I haven't had a good bagel in years but a really good garlic or everything bagel with cream cheese is divine. A cup of hot tea with milk and sugar makes it better. it makes everything better

Mmm, I just love bagels too...  pimento cream cheese does sound delightful.

I also really like cinnamon raisin bagels with strawberry cream cheese, yum.

I remember when I was stationed in Germany they had these wonderful crusty rolls called Brotchen that was eaten for breakfast.  I loved those.  I would see people sometimes get them with some sliced cold cuts and cheese especially on the weekends.  I never tried that I always just had them with butter, it was always fresh real butter not margarine.

My favorite is going to IHOP and ordering scrambled eggs, sausages and of course their delicious pancakes with lots of coffee.  They make really good coffee.

If I'm making the breakfast, I like my eggs medium over, toast and bacon or sausages with coffee of course.

When I eat out for breakfast, I like the Grand Slam (that's what they call it at Denny's, other places have their own names, but you know what I mean). Everything---eggs, toast, hash browns, bacon (extra crispy), maybe some pancakes.

At home I just have a packet of breakfast biscuits :(.
