Today I helped my neighbor clean out her barn.  As we were cleaning this chicken poop filled barn,  we came upon a litter of four 5-6 week old kittens.  Me being me, I couldn't resist taking them home, for my neighbor was moving soon and couldn't care for these starving kittens.  Soon, as I was loading them into the back of my truck,  my neighbor  mentioned there being 2 more kittens on her porch.  I located the first one, which is the one this thread is about. unfortunately, I did not find the second.  So, now I adopted a three week old kitten, whom a have to bottle feed.  i love kittens when they are this young.  All they o is eat and snuggle (:  !  Anyway,  When i got her home I noticed she had very watery eyes, and was skinny to the bone.  I gave her a bottle as soon as I could.   All I can do now is wait and hope she recovers!

Splendid!

What  is in the bottle, exactly?    Although I suppose you had taken care of small kittens earlier, by what you tell.

What happened with the other kittens you took with you?

And I suppose you dont have any clue of the mom - she probably perished a couple of days ago??

Please come with reports and further questions.

Good luck!

I put kitten starter in the bottle.  It came in a big round can as a powder form.   2 tea spoons of water per teaspoon of powder.  The other kittens are feisty and will most likely be giving them away soon as i get them tamed up.     I saw the mom when i was cleaning, but she had no interest to care for the kittens.   the mother is wild so I can't catch her.

the kitty is doing great today! drank a full bottle for me.    Likes to chew the bottle, not suck it.     i can't tell if it is a girl or boy.   it has nipples, but  it has what looks to be like boy parts.   lol guess i will find out soon
