I don't think this is normal, but I've found what looks like fish bones protruding from the pieces of food. They are hard and sharp.

Most of the food looks to have white dots on the surface as well.

I took a few pictures. Will upload.

Call or write NV immediately and ask what's going on!! And let us know their response!

I contacted through their website and submitted these pictures. It didn't clarify that they received it. No one will reply over the weekend.

More pictures.I grabbed a handful, a paper towel, camera, and headed outside for better light. Have not heard anything from NVI. I am kind of nervous due to the fact that I didn't catch this right away. My cat has eaten about 1/4 cup of this food.
Lesson learned not to fill bowls late at night with poor lighting and wear your glasses.
Sure looks like bone. Every piece has these fragments in some form. Very sharp. Easily puncture gums if chewed. Keeping close eye on Mosi.

What, if anything, ever became of this problem?  Did anyone else have a similar issue?  I'm a bit concerned, since I just picked up a trial bag of Instinct as the store was out of Orijen (again).
