I just got 2 new kittens a month ago and now I have HORRIBLE allergies itchy eyes, nose, throat . Its driving me crazy I don't know what to do to minimize this. I went and got tested and they say I'm NOT allergic to CATS so WTH is going on. I feel awful everyday. What should I do????

I had a similar problem as well. I never went through allergy testing so I cannot tell myself what caused it but it was definitely NOT from cats. I usually get that problem due to seasonal allergy or dust from litter box.

Location
Where my cats are
I'm not sure where you are; but the North Eastern part of the US has been in a "pollen tsunami" they are calling it.
I like to garden and I live in a rural area; as soon as I step outside my eyes will burn/itch for a minute.  I have good control with generic claritin and flonase when that's not enough.  I used to have a lot rougher allergy season.  My doctor back then told me I needed to start on the medications about a month before things peak.  Basically; I needed 3 months in the spring and 3 in the fall where i was continually on the daily pill.  The doctor was right; it helped A LOT to get it under control.  Now; it's sometimes miserably bad if I travel outside my region; but I think I've grown more accustomed to the allergens in this area.  It only took about 20 years.

Whatever your allergies are from; the things you can do to help lessen them are basically the same and boil down to housekeeping.  I have better control when we keep the windows shut and have the AC running (it's been hot already).  DH changes the filter on the HVAC system every 3 months and we invest in good ones.  Some people benefit from wearing a mask during dusting and chores like that.  Do your kitties go outside? (You may have said; I'm getting sleepy!)  If they do; be prepared to clean them off because they will bring pollen and allergens inside with them.   Regular grooming will help some people with cat allergies anyway.  My DH is allergic to cats; so our girls are not allowed in our bedroom.  He is also good about washing his hands after they pet him.  They don't bother him as much as they used to thankfully.  We used to change our clothing for bed right before bed; no lounging around on the couch with the girls in them.  I'm glad DH isn't as bothered by them now!
