Has anyone else tried the Nutrish canned cat food? It seems every time my cats eat it - the chicken only since that is the only one that doesn't contain poisonous mendione bisulfate - my cats vomit yellowish vomit and poop yellow poop. I think it must be the sawdust in it. Wondering if anyone else experiences this with that food.

I also tried Purina Beyond without the mendione bisulfate or carrageenan - it seems like a better food but the cats won't eat the chunks. I have to blend it before they'll eat it which is a pain in the butt - and it is only certain ones that I can find without the mendione bisulfate.

So hard to find food for them.

Sawdust...?

If you mean powdered cellulose (I'm pretty sure it isn't actually sawdust) it can certainly cause problems for some cats. I've read that cellulose is too harsh a fiber for cats.

It was just recalled, I got a call from the store I had bought it from today. They had tracked my purchase from my store card. It contained high levels of Vitamin D which can cause vomiting and diarrhea. I had taken my cat to the vet, he vomited so much it turned bloody and he got dehydrated. There is info on their website, at the top of the page for the wet cat food.
