I have had Silver for 5 years; he was neutered around 9 months old. We moved a few times and now in a neighborhood with cats that are not fixed coming around the house.
I got little Bell at around 9 months old and got her spayed then too.
A couple nights ago I was woken up with Bell screaming, terrified, traumatized, running, howling, tearing down curtains and silver was chasing her. I put silver in my room and let bell have the run of the house and slept for a couple hours.
The next morning, when silver came out of the room, bell was terrified again and threw another fit. It was awful.
I have had Bell in my room for 3 days now. She hisses at me and is frightened, still, but calms down when she knows silver is not coming in. She lets me love on her and we play and she is eating and drinking and seems normal....until Silver shows up.
I found small bits of blood on my bedspread.
I think Silver raped her. I was finally able to see her behind and she is a little swollen and pinkish in her lady parts.
Now what do I do?
Will they ever be able to co-exist and be friends again. They have gotten along just fine since November of last year, then all of a sudden this happened.
What should I do? Can this be fixed?
Please help me. I want my calm family back and don't know how to make that happen.
Any advice would be helpful.
