My Max is sneezing up a storm. He doesn't seem to be congested, is still eating and drinking and playing with/beating up my other cat so I'm not too worried, but I was wondering how he could have caught a cold?

He is an inside kitty, so I don't know where he got it. Could I have brought the germ in on me?

Thanks!

The best thing to do is to take Max to the vet immediately.

Virus particles can travel quite easily on your clothes, skin and even in the air. Indoor kitties aren't immune from catching diseases. It's just that it's less likely.

I would separate him from your other cat until Max gets the all clear from the vet. And I would get Max to the vet as soon as possible because a little sneeze can lead to a respiratory infection. If that becomes the case, it's easier to look after one sick cat than two.
