i live in an apartmnent complex and one of the rules is no animals but when me and my mom first moved in we found an adorible little kitten but she was in the flood waters so i begged my mom to let me keep her and she did even though we could get evicted for it... then we found another fuzzy little black and white cat but he looked so sick when we picked him up to see if he was okay he wasnt he had maggetts coming out of his guy parts and was very dehidrated so mom said she would keep him long enough to get better and when he got better she just couldnt give him away him and the other cat are the best of buds but we found two more kittens they were together one black and white one cream colerd both boys they did really good when we brought them in then i changed there food to 9lives and all four of them got sick so i had to change them back to the off brand cat food they had before all of them but the little black and white one got better hes skinny his eyes are goowy and his poop is almost water i am really worried about him now he cant hold his poop and it hurts him to go so my mom told me i had to pick two cats to drop at the vets door because we dont have the money to get proper care for them i have no choice to give them the black and white one but i want to keep all the others i love them very much if i could i would keep all four but i cant so im going to try to convince my mom to let me keep the three its going to brake my heart to get rid of one of them and i only have until tomorrow morning to do so. so if you have any ideas that may help please share thanks

Heather are you really prepared to put your home at serious risk for the sake of your wish to keep these kittens? You really should be contacting local charities, explaining the situation and asking for their help. That's more responsible than dropping them off on the vets doorstep - you'd get some idea of what would become of them at least, and you won't know if you simply leave them (might be a policy of euthanizing).

The kitten that is sick probably has worms and an eye infection. He needs treatment asap. Try calling a no-kill shelter and get him there for treatment and to find a forever home. Look in your local phone book or google no kill shelters in your area to find out. As hard as it is to say goodbye, it's easier knowing he will get the care he needs to get healthy and find a good home. I wouldn't just drop at a vet's door, but you could call a vet's office and see if anyone working there would be interested and willing to take the little fellow and care for him. There are many animal lovers working in vet offices as well as shelters. Also the Humane Society or ASPCA can find a foster home for him that will get him healthy and then adopt him out. I hope these ideas help you to face your situation and find reasonable answers. Try discussing all the alternatives with your mom so she can help you decide on the best one. Good luck!
