Good morning TCS! :wavey:

Well this is the question of the day!

19.- ¿Wich one was some challenges you had during your childhood?

( I mean what challenges you should to solve when you was a child... (Bulling, move to other country and learn the language, a divorce of your parents.... etc)

*Note: of course you can tell us in general terms about this and bring to us some anecdotes about it.

You know, I don't remember much of anything like that. I think I had a pretty normal childhood, all things considered. Could it have been better? Well, I suppose so, but it could have been a whole lot worse, too. I know there were some issues at times, but nothing I really want to talk about here. Sorry.

We moved around a lot. I went to several different schools and making friends were hard as I am not that sociable.

One of the worst things to deal with was the death of one of my best friends at 12. We went to a skating rink on Thursday, she came down with a "cold" on Friday and died of viral encephalitis on Saturday. My mom used to call her the "perpetual motion machine". It's some consolation that she managed to cram so much living into her short life.

Apparently I had a terrible lisp. My mother told me I came home from school on day and said 'Mummy. Mith Timothy wantth to thee you on thurthday'.
I would imagine there's some exaggeration there but, apparently, I was taken to speech therapy where I learned songs and poems etc. It worked but I have absolutely no recollection of it. It has been completely blocked out.
I'd love to know why. Any suggestions?

I was a very shy and creative girl. I adored  making crafts and playing video games, just didn't like hanging out with other kids that were not my siblings or cousins. I seemed to not actually like "strangers" or people unknown to me and didn't want to make the effort.

My parents have always been very supportive in my decisions since very early on, so they didn't say or do anything. I just didn't feel like I "clicked" with the kind of interests the kids at my school or neighborhood had, so I just shunned them out.

Looking back on it, I was a very popular girl, I just didn't have "close friends" so I felt alone.

In University, I decided to make friendships and not acquaintances, so I did! I have a lot of meaningful relationships, but I'm still as creative as ever!
