This little thing here is Dublin. She was pushed away at 2 weeks old, and I have been hand raising her since. We've become potty jedi's and master feather hunters. She is 6 weeks old now, and she's recently started something odd. She will start with the lovebites to the chin and nose while cuddling, head booking, and purring... Then she will try to nuzzle my Mouth open. Is this normal cat stuff? I had a cat growing up, but we grew up together, and have no memory of his kitten stages, so I don't have him to compare Dublin to. Plus, her seeing me as momma, is this a momma-baby thing, or did I just manage to get the weird one of the bunch? (not that that would be a bad thing, she'd fit right in here lol)

What a little sweetie!

Hopefully one of our experienced members will see your post soon.  Does it seem like it could be a teething type behavior?

Since she thinks you are her mom, I wonder if she expects you to lick her since that is what cat moms do when the baby is close. Otherwise, she is probably just exploring new ways to connect and cuddle, and how your mouth works! Cute little one by the way, all snugly on your neck! :)

Eh, don't laugh but I wonder if your lips might feel like mamas nipples...? For the same reason some cats suckle on earlobes...?

It sounds like she's just a curious baby. She's exploring you.

She is so adorable and I love her name!!
