So the kittens I currently have are approx 4 maybe 5 weeks old. I foster for a rescue and they claimed they were good nursers when I got them. It was a struggle to get them to take a bottle they had little teeth so I thought maybe they were ready to be weened I tried every type of wet food mixed with goats milk to make a gruel didn't eat it. I started stringing them and they would just spit it out.

I gave them pedylite to keep them hydrated and nutrical.

They are now finally eating on their own I leave dry royal canin baby cat down for them all day and I give them wet food a few times thru out the day.

They are acting like normal kittens active and all that but they seem a bit underweight for their age. The smallest weights 8oz the biggest is the 10.1oz.

I started giving them ad wet food to add more calories.

Any advice?

Maybe moisten the kitten chow with KMR to make it easier to eat. Also try leaving out a dish of formula for them to lap. It's good you are supplementing with wet food several times a day. They need it. Since they are eating on their own they should begin to gain weight as they eat more and grow. Try putting them in front of their food if they forget to eat. Sometimes they need reminding! If you are really concerned, kittens usually love Gerber chicken and turkey, but it's a bit pricey.

They are eating on their own now I sit with them to make sure that one isn't hogging all the food and pushing the other ones out. Didn't know if there was something to give them to try and help them gain or now that they are eating better they will slowly put the weight back on.

They act healthy otherwise and I've seen them drinking water and a few have eaten the dry food I leave down for them.

Very good to hear, and glad you sit with them to supervise meals for now. :)

If salomonella in eggs is no problem at your place, you can mix in a raw yolk in their food..  Good nourishment easily digestible.

You mentioned goat milk, you can always continue with it too.   Even if at this age it isnt not longer necessary for their drinking needs, but as you want to give them some extra...   :)
