I'm like you. Where do I look now?  I always go ingredient surfing on Chewy.com.  Yesterday I ordered the Wysong Epigen variety pack, but it's kind of expensive!  Like 6 -13oz cans for $20.  Also  trying the Evanger's  Rabbit, and the Chicken, 12 - 13 oz. cans, but I have 4 cats, so hoping for the best!  I have been feeding Sheba, only because it is carrageen free, but probably not real top quality, but no real issues, except they don't like the beef. I fed Trader Joe's turkey with giblet for about 2 years, but I think they burned out on it. I used to call and order  4 cases at a time! That was too easy! But not too fair to the kitties,  same ol' same ol', and probably by not rotating, subjecting them to a limited, lacking diet. Well that's my deal for now until I get my lazy self to start making raw. I bought the Tasin grinder quite awhile ago!  My excuse is I don't know where it is, or where the the old roommate stored it! ( I guess I could call him)  One other thing that I am concerned about the foods that I ordered, is that they may need some vitamin/nutrient supplements, like taurine, etc as I couldn't quite determine what was added to product. Very limited ingredients. I always suggest Chewy.com because just about every brand they carry has an ingredient tab.

my cats snub so many top quality foods. They still like Merrick Pates which has carageenan. They still like Nutro natural choice, tiki Puka luau, Iams Purrfect delicasies, red barn tricky chicky. They have been snubbing pride and instinct.

I meant to reply on the Instinct food before. I looked on Chewy, lots of strange fruits and veggies. Wellness is IMO really full of unnecessary additives also. I went to our local independent pet store to look around a few months ago. I found it odd that the salespeople knew so little about cat feeding. I was leading the 2 or 3 ladies around the shelves and explaining to them!  Finally just grabbed a few Rad Cats tubs, as they are the only distributor in town. But at $12.99 for 24 0z., it is too much for like 1 day for the 4 cats! Heck! They love it so much, I would say dinner only! I could buy a lot of chicken thighs on sale for that price. Until then I am waiting for my stuff from Chewys.

My cats are cooling on instinct foods, anyone have any new suggestions?
what are your parameters?  There are literally thousands of food to choose from
.  But, naturally, it all comes down to what your cats will eat.  If you do a search here on TCS for the best canned food, you will also find many, many threads on this topic

I feed either Friskies pate usually Turkey and Giblets or Special Kitty Turkey Giblets or Chicken Tuna for a treat.

I have been reading on this forum about 4Health canned and dry food that you can buy at Tractor Supply. I just bought a few cans and my babies love it. I am now feeding them dry food with a little can. I have an very overweight cat that if this food agrees with him I made feed him only 4Health canned. It is very reasonably priced for the quality of it.

Online it is .59 a can. My store it was .69 a can

I will try anything to see if they like it, I figured if some cats out there like it, I will give it a try. Bought some organix on sale, they don't like it. I feed mid to high end, whatever they like is key!

I have 3 cats, and they all three eat/like something different.  I WISH they would eat the same thing because then I wouldn't need to save so much room in the fridge for their open cans since I don't normally feed them an entire can in one sitting
.  Oh well, the things we do for our cats.  Right now I have two who like Nutro Natural Cat, but not the same flavors, and one who likes Sheba.  SHE hates the Nutro
, or any other "higher end" cat food.  But, then again, I'm lucky that one eats anything at all (kidney disease).   Mine occasionally get Weruva, but they don't seem too fond of it. (and I'm not fond that it's so low in calories)   I've given away more of it than I've kept.  Everyone else raves about Tiki, and none of mine will touch it.

I do not like that the 4Health has so many veggies, fruits, and roots in it. My cats did eat it but now I feed Paws N Claws as it doesn't contain the fruits and veggies.  This is the Supreme Supper Paws n Claws ingredients list, Ocean whitefish, sufficient water for processing, meat by-products, poultry by-products, animal liver, rice flour, guar gum, added color, salt, sodium tripolyphosphate, carrageenan, potassium chloride, vitamins (vitamin e, a, d3, b12 supplements, thiamine mononitrate, niacin, d-calcium pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin supplement, folic acid, biotin), minerals (ferrous sulfate, zinc oxide, copper proteinate, manganous sulfate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite), choline chloride, taurine, sodium nitrite (to promote color retention).   Its sold at my store for .44 cents a can. 5.5 oz standard can.

With as many cats that I have and care for, I feed a variety of canned, raw, cooked meats as snacks.
