Does anyone see anything obviously adverse to cats about this dog food? It would only be as an extra

Artemis Osopure 95% Duck Grain-Free Formula Canned Dog Food -  95% duck.

Ingredients:

Duck, Chicken Broth, Guar Gum, vitamin/mineral premix*

*Vitamin/Mineral Premix: Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin Supplement, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate [Source of Vitamin C], Thiamine Mononitrate [Source of Vitamin B1], Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin A Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride [Source of Vitamin B6], Riboflavin Supplement [Source of Vitamin B2], Folic Acid, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Biotin, Vitamin D2 Supplement), Minerals (Zinc Sulfate, Iron Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, Selenium Yeast, Potassium Iodide)

I'm not sure about the guar gum in general and that may rule it out for my cat. But it is made in the USA and it seems to have limited ingredients and I was thinking of using it (or something like it) as a kind of treat or spoonful maybe 3-4 times a week. Or less.

I want to homecook and will still use the canned cat food I've been using (Halo, but it may be too watery). I'm thinking of feeding him 1/2 cooked and 1/2 canned to start. This dog food was just as a tiny suppliment. Mainly because I don't have any experience cooking duck. I don't even know where you can buy duck.  I suppose I could learn.

Sorry - probably too much information! What about this dog food?

It looks fine, although if you were using this for his main meals you would need to add a taurine supplement. The balance of vitamin and minerals might be a bit off for cats too - or it may not, some dog foods use the same vitamin/mineral mix they use for cat food.

Anyway, as a treat it should be just fine.

As little as you say you plan on feeding it, I think you should be fine.

Could I ask if you could make him plain boiled chicken or turkey as a treat? No bones. I'm not too keen on feeding a cat dog food on purpose even for a treat.
