Wow!  Poor Jess!  I'm glad she made it back to you though!

Her reaction to her babies is normal; she doesn't recognize them as her babies anymore.  If she doesn't settle; you may have to introduce them as if they were complete strangers.

Good luck getting her fixed and the situation figured out!

WOW! What an incredible story. I think you're amazing and I hope Jess ends up somewhere spayed and safe, either it's with you or someone else.

Perhaps once she's spayed, she'll be more friendly towards her kittens/other cats. I do hope you find a way to spay her! Best of luck.

Noone was more surprised than me to see her at my window this morn trust me lol!!!!..i have NOT  been able to get through on the ph to this pet store owner which im finding very  SUSS as she should be open during the day... I didnt know this woman personally.. my MUM  said she did so i trusted my mothers word and obviously i should have known better than to trust her word!!! and if i find out mum didnt actually take her and dumped her somewhere im going to be  ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS at her when she gets home cos i cant honestly think of a reason why this woman isnt pickin up her ph. i DID  however manage to find a cheap desexing place here but its a long way from here and i dont drive but i will arrange for someone to give me a lift there cos my poor girl needs to be done and i AM going to do it! and at least then she will be done even if i have to rehome her

I found a adoption place here that has a NO KILL policy so i messaged them telling them the situation and i asked them for advice, cos id really rather NOT  take her to the RSPCA  cos if they dont adopt them they kill them and i dont wanna see that happen to my Jess.. id rather try and keep her than have them do that for nothing! if they can help with possible desexing, im keeping her.she deserves to be loved and im gonna make SURE of it

I have a neighbor who moved in about 6 months ago. Their cat keeps finding ways out and going back to their old place. They are lucky the people who now own their old house always calls and lets them know she is there.Cats, like dogs can find their way back home. I am glad she is okay. If you need help in paying for her to be spayed you might try opening a www.gofundme.com account. I have donated thru that site to help people care for their animals.

Why can't you take her? Have you contacted the people you have her to? Might they have simply abandoned her near your house?

I wouldn't give Jess back to them no matter what, even if it was because they lost her. Simply on the fact that they aren't returning your calls.

I hope your mom falls in love with Jess and just decides to keep  her. (Wishful thinking, I know). Otherwise, I hope you find a nice home for her!

No, I know you would not give her back if you thought they dumped her, but might it not be worth a try to see if they seem concerned?

I'm so sorry about all of this. I can tell you are really upset. I can't help, but know I care.

You need to call your local ASPCA office and they may have a reduced cost for fixing strays. Here it is $15. You can also Google it online. Let us know what you find out
