I am very glad to hear she is improving. My only worry now is, what originally caused it?

we are located in Canada. and the only meds she is on is the appetite stimulant. Thats hard enough to give her she wont swallow pills...

yes i was told it can take 3-6weeks to 3-6 months for them to recover. It sucks that she is sick because I was going to look for work to help with the lack of money then she got sick so working isnt an option at the moment. my other half is on a comp disability but cost of living and vets bills are expensive. already spent $500 we didnt have at the vet, aka didnt pay some bills... sigh have to pay them now though so cant afford any extras  for awhile. and our roomates are moving so costs are going up lol yay
OK, my Vet said if you can't get the pills down her (for MY cat with liver issues), to at least try either Milk Thistle and/or Vitamin E.  since you are syringe feeding, you can probably do both.  You can buy these at most health food store, or maybe even at grocery stores.  My Vet said to use 100 mg Vit E. and give approx 1/4 capsule.  On the Milk Thistle I don't know the amount because it's bitter so my girl won't eat it.  Maybe you could CALL your Vet and ask about using it?  Find out how much and just mix it into the A/D and syringe it right in.  I think that would be very helpful since you can't give her the pills.

UPDATE!!!!

She is now eating little bits of soft food on her own through out the day. Still force feeding her not not as much. See the vet Thurday. 5 weeks ago

Her color is improved a lot. I am not worried about what caused the fatty liver. Because I know for a fact it was stress, there have been nothing but stress in our house since we moved here. Stress can cause fatty liver. Vet didn't think that's what caused it but i cant pay the $2000 he wants for all the tests.

She is almost back to her self, and the shelter i got her at ,i talked to them and explained what has been going on since we moved and they figure Stress is the cause, same with their vet. I trust them more then the vet, since almost all vets are after is the money. Ours is all about money, don't have money wont see her even if its just a week till we get money. He also would not do payments, and will no longer give advice over the phone, told us to come in and pay him. So we will take her in Thursday, and just keep doing what we are doing.

Yay!!!!!
Wow, you definitely can see the difference in the "lack" of yellow in her.

Did you add any Milk Thistle or Vit E to her food that you are giving her via syringe?  Still a good idea.

Aww, she looks so happy curled up in the sun there. I'm glad she's doing better and eating some on her own. She's beautiful.

She looks much better. I am glad that she is eating mostly by herself. I do worry about what caused it.  I will agree with your vet on this though, I do not really think the stress caused it. She must have stopped eating for several days or so, at least to have it affect her liver. By any chance, could you get copies of all her medical work and find another Vet? According to your post, you seem upset with this one and reasonably so, but I think it may be best if you could find a Vet you do trust. I personally think that that it is time you found another.

Its with a heavy heart that I report that, a mass was found in her bowels, and it turned out to be cancer. I lost my princess on july 07 2015.

This is awful news
.  She seemed to be doing so well after all your hard work.

I'm so sorry for your loss.   Rest in peace, little one.
