This is Blaze. He was born feral in the neighborhood. After about 2 years of living outdoors I snuck up behind one evening when he was eating, told my husband to open the front door, and I threw him inside (with a few injuries to myself
). He's been in ever since, but still is not real tame. He will let me pet him occasionally, but only when he decides I can.

LOL.Me,too.
The very first feral kitten we caught(was around 4 months old or so)almost tore down my walls.LOL.I brought the cage inside and Mike thought he would get the kitten out(I told him not to,but you know how that goes
)Well,he opened the door and the cat went running around the living room jumping the walls and got in behind the computer desk and was literally climbing the walls. He almost tore up every wire back there.
Then when we caught him to put him back in the cage Mike got bit and then I got bit.He is the only one that ever bit us(But Mike learned to leave them alone for a while after that, too.LOL)Now believe it or not out of the 6 feral kittens we caught he is the biggest baby and the tamest one.

You have one gorgeous kitty there.Glad you were able to catch him.

I love your story! Blaze about hung himself on the curtain rod. My husband finally got him loose. He ran and hid in one of the bedrooms for days. We set food, water and a litter box in there and just left him alone. Weeks later we were in the TV room and low and behold we saw Blaze. He ran under the living couch and stayed there, but after that he would venture out. It took us forever to even be able to touch him. You can tell by the pictures he's still quite feral.

Your cat is so pretty, do all ferals have long hair? Or doe's feral just mean, a cat born in the wild?

Oava , a feral come from a stray cat/kitten who was dumped at one time and they will have kittens and those kittens are the feral cats .As we all know people dump any animals if they are to much for them to handle , that include the long hair cat

HouseofCats , your boy is very pretty

Thanks Hedi. Poor cats, it really makes me sad to see stray cats with no home, no wonder you all go to great measures to save these's ferals
