Milo was a stray orphaned cat that I adopted and for the first few days he was totally fine. Even this morning he was normal. This morning he was eating and drinking however he has started sleeping and won't wake up unless I shake him. He isn't twitichy and there is no mucus in his nose. He is breathing 41 breaths per minute but when he wakes up he opens his eyes for one minute and then wont anymore. I took him to the vet after i adopted him and they gave him a shot (after they gave him that shot he had a big seizure) but he hasn't had one that I've seen since. Im really worried about him. He is good at using the litter box but today he just pooped himself while he was asleep.

Please help. It is a national holiday where I am and the vet is closed, I called the vet but he doesn't want to work on this holiday and it isn't open for two more days and I'm freaking out.

This sounds serious, especially the pooping in his sleep. Cats are very fastidious animals and they won't do that unless they are really sick. Is there an ER vet in your area? Try calling all the other vets and ask if anyone will see him today, it sounds like he needs medical help ASAP.

Please consult your local telephone directory. Call other vets. I am sure there will be someone nearby you. They will charge you

more but it is worth it. I find this troubling. I pray that your cat will be OK soon.

kitty update! so I live in a small town in Malaysia so there is only one vet to see. I managed to track him down at home (a little creepy of me but I needed help!) and I'm not sure what he did (he didnt speak much english) But he gave my kitty some deworming juice and rubbed some "vitamins" on his gums and now hes up and happier than ever!

that was the scariest 4 hours of my life! But Milo is a-okay now! thanks for all your help guys!!!

You did what you had to do. I am glad he is doing better. Shame on that Vet for going ahead and giving such a young one a vaccine, has a nasty reaction and then won't see him. If it were me, I wouldn't go back to them. Please keep us posted on little Milo. Which vaccine did they give him?
