I feed Octavia 1/2 can for breakfast and 1/2 can for dinner (fancy feast ) with her dry food ( natures variety Instinct ) avaible to her throughout the day. I was just wondering your opinions on ff? I also plan on switching to the raw diet, just wondering on how to do that aswell? Thanks in advance!

The original pate varieties of Fancy Feast are grain free, so they're not too terrible.  There are higher quality foods out there, though.  If your kitty eats it and is healthy, then it's good.

Hi Octavia, and welcome to TCS!

I agree with stephanietx.. My two are such picky eaters I'm glad with whatever I can get into them that is good quality.  Fancy Feast, even though it's not one of the expensive brands, is not bad.  I know quite a few people say buy the Classic range, due to its high meat content.

As for raw feeding, we have a whole other forum on the topic so go here and ask all about it.

Ive only had her about 2 months and she seems to be pretty easy going with the food she eats. I got her has a rescue, and she needs to put on a little extra weight, I was hoping the wet food may contribute to that.
