A Little Introduction from Missouri

I am new here as of today and am also a first-time cat owner as of two days ago. I bet you can guess why I joined this particular forum? Haha.

Thanks everyone! We are very happy to have him. 

He went to the vet, and he is very healthy! She removed the mats on his chest and addressed the spots on the ridge of his back. They are apparently from having fleas...   

She suggested a bath and possibly a haircut, but I'm going to look into it all before doing either.

The doctor suggested that he lose a few pounds. We will be putting that on the agenda!

Hello and welcome to YCS.     What a handsome and striking looking cat Bud is.     I love his ginger face and white body, very unusual.   Is his tail white or coloured?
