wondering if someone can help me i have 4 kittens (4 weeks old) they started eating solids few days ago but mum cat keeps stealing their food on a night and in a morning i cant sit with the kittens and keep mum away but im at work during the day so i cant stop her from stealing their food :-( what can i do also any advice on litter training them one has got the hang of it straight away but the others havent x

Mom helping them eat isnt so bad, she shows them how to do it... Its just if they get extra good pricey food, which she hasnt when its perhaps some problem...
But she needs surely the nourishment. 4 weeks nursing takes a lot of milk from her...
Perhaps be sure she gets her food before they get theirs, so she has already eaten some of her food...
Also, I suppose they still can nurse on her?
The same with litter training. Usually they learn from her and from each other. Make sure its a non clumping litter, and shallow pans, so its easy to climb in.
