Hi everyone :wavey:

I thought today's question should be about our cats :rub: :heart3:

Whats one of the naughtiest things your cat has ever done ?

What, my cats naughty?!!! NEVER!!!
They just do cute things, like knock our cell phones onto the floor when they aren't let outside immediately, or drink out of our glasses when we step out for a moment, (never while we're there) or walk across a just waxed floor ( after sleeping during the cleaning, they have an internal alarm when the time is right) or as they both did yesterday, peeing in every hole I dug for my tomatoes!

One of my GFs sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I had them back in the computer room and I was in the room on the computer. Banshee, my
, decided to start nibbling on the flowers and I didn't catch her right away. But I heard it when the vase crashed to the floor. Called the vet, shut the computer room door, and the Queen B and I made an emergency vet visit because I was worried about her ingesting the flowers. She was fine. My nerves were not.

Banshee also tasted the two white layer cakes I had back in the computer room cooling on racks, so I could frost them. I thought I had closed the door, but evidently didn't latch it. She got in, I heard the crash, and there she was, chowing down on cake. She dearly loved anything vanilla. She was mighty peeved when I made her leave the room so I could clean it up, too. She muttered the whole way out the door.

And then there was the time that things were very quiet in the house. I know that usually means trouble. I went looking for kitties. Found Banshee and Whisper in the bathroom sitting in a nest of unrolled toilet paper. Banshee was having the time of her life running the paper off the roll; honestly, it was like a cartoon. Whisper saw me coming said, "You're on your own, girl. I'm outta here." and she zoomed out of the bathroom. Banshee looked at me and said, "What?"

And that's just from one cat. She was my darling baby girl 99.99% of the time. I adored that cat.

I caught Noodles chewing the tulle on my DD's Easter dress recently.  It had gotten knocked down; normally we keep all tulle things put away.  She's also chewed a Christmas decoration that she had to climb to get to.

Other than that; they knocked a porcelain spoon rest off the counter when we were on vacation.  Our house sitter found it shattered on the floor.  They were a lot younger then.  They still counter surf; but they haven't broken anything recently.  I occasionally find Noodles lounging on the dining room table.  Sometimes in a box on the table.  It's hard to be upset about that.  But she has left nail marks on the table when she jumps from that to the cat tree.  Or maybe it's when she jumps from the tree to the table?

One of my cats growing up stole a raw hamburger off the table when my Mom turned her back.  She was shaping the patties and putting them on a plate. She managed to pull the whole thing down. Noms!

I have perfect, very well behaved cats.

No, really.

Neither of them has gotten themselves into any real trouble.  Does not mean they won't eventually but based on history, I'm doubting it.  Casper has been with us for about 4 years and Cocoa for 2-1/2.  No damage, no eating things that don't belong to them, etc.

The latest naughtiness is from Asha - she keeps beating up the dogs. I don't mean a swipe if they get too close - she will get up and walk across the room just to hit them round the face! We now have a labrador and a greyhound who don't dare walk past her. It's got so bad that if they see Asha in my bedroom they'll back away and wait until I move her :lol3:

I feel bad for the dogs, though. They've been models of well behaved restraint the entire time, and have done nothing to deserve this treatment.

Oh dear, these stories just made me LOL.

Of course, Monet's the trouble maker, but he never did anything as bad as the above posters.

He'd usually chew up the toilet paper if I am gone all day.

He broke a vase or two (reason why I can't have nice things!)

occasionally I'd find him in my sink, inspecting the soaking dishes.

Cassie's thing is scratching my rug, she's getting better with it though. Recently she decided to jump on my shelf above the computer desk. She miscalculated, took all the boxes and books down with her, along with my $1,000 camera which I was peeved about. luckily she didn't break it!

Fortunately, Angel is pretty good, he rarely has jumped up on the counter. He did however jump up on my tall dresser a couple of times & knocked some of my jewelry off like he was pitching balls.   "and another one down, and another one, and oh a charm bracelet, extra points!"

When he was first here, he used to stretch up on the front of the arms of my old couch, & claw. Luckily, I caught it before much damage was done. I just put regular clear packing tape in them, & that fixed it.

That reminds me of Asha. Not long after I got her I was prepping for a 2 day craft fair. As I was arranging the pendants on their display board, a little black paw appeared and started batting at them :lol3: Being referred to as 'Princess Asha' by mum must have gone to her head - she only wanted the most expensive one on the board! (A big oval Rose De France amethyst claw set in sterling silver)

The trouble was,I couldn't remove her because the table I use was in her safe room. I managed eventually, then had to pack it away quickly before she undid all my work

One of ours brought in a live blue jay (don't ask me how they crammed themselves AND a large live bird through the cat door!) and let it go in the house. There were bird feathers everywhere and bird poo on the walls.  What a mess.

Here are Ozzy and Rico looking at their handiwork after they knocked a basket of potpourri off of the table:
