A few weeks after I had to get my Minnie put to sleep, I adopted two adult cats, Olivia and Chloe. Shortly after the adoption Olivia kept chasing something that was unseen under the bed, not in a hostile way, but more like she was interested. I decided to take a couple of pictures under the bed while calling Minnie's name. I didn't really see anything after taking the photos, but last Saturday I looked at the pics again, and I got chills. The first pic is of MInnie when I had her, the second pic is Olivia looking under the bed, the third pics shows what looks like a blurry image of a hind leg and a tail. The fourth pic, if you look closely, shows the outline of a cat's body, ears, and the white of her mouth area, which shows up more clearly than the rest. I took a fourth pic about two hours ago while calling Minnie's name, and an image showed up that looks like a cat's head and face. Here are the pics if you don't mind seeing them. Pardon the condition of the floor, I haven't swept under there in a while.

This is Minnie as I had her

This is Olivia looking under the bed

This the hind leg and tail pic to the right and on the blue bin

This the full image of Minnie's body and face in the upper right hand corner and under the piece of wood panelling on top of the blue bin. There even appears to be a shadow of her head and ears on the panelling.

This pick, taken about two hours ago shows what looks like a cat's face and head to the left and beside the cardboard close to the wall and baseboard

Sorry if there is any confusion. The fourth pic is the image with Minnie against the wood panel, and the one after that is the fifth one where she is to the right, not the left.

I always knew my Chrissy came back too, I hope this comforts you in knowing she will always be around, the bond is too strong even for death.

She really wanted you to know she was there in the 4th picture.  An Animal's soul lives on after their bodies die just as a human's does. I have never doubted this for a second. I'm glad that you were able to capture this as validation. I hope it brings you some comfort and reassurance that she loves you just as much as you love her and that you share a bond that nothing including death is strong enough to break. She was a very beautiful girl and you'll see her again someday when the time is right.

Good job getting those!  My Rizzo walked on my bed a few times several weeks ago & has not been back.  He must have wanted me to know he was there because he never walked that heavily on the bed when he was with me.  I wish he would come back; it was nice to know he was around.

Thanks, everyone. I just hope MInnie will keep coming around and not let the other cats discourage her. I keep calling Minnie's name to encourage her. Her sister Sally had to be put to sleep last summer, but so far, she hasn't come around.  Last night, Olivia jumped up on the kitchen table (she's not supposed to do that) and sniffed around Minnie's urn, which is where I keep it. I thought that was interesting.

Not quite a cat story, but my neighbor (younger than I) recently passed away, and he came me in a dream.  I knew he was dead, and as I drove past him as I would normally as I pulled out of my driveway, I started to say something about "aren't you gone?" and got all teary eyed (this all in my dream, which I STILL can remember!!) , and he said as clear as day "yes, but it's okay" with his usual big smile on his face.  I think he needed me to give this information to his son, who was struggling mightily with the fact that it all happened so quickly and he in essence "pulled the plug" in the end....same as we do for our kitties
.

My own
Sven
has jumped up on the bed a time or two to let me know he's good with where he is now, but I've never seen him.  I swear he's head-bumped me though, and meowed at me.  Not so much anymore though, but he's been gone for a couple of years now.

I will share again "my" Minnie story :) Her ashes were delivered in a white plain box, with the exception of them writing "Minnie" on it with a lil heart. It touched me so, that I took a pic, and in the reflection of the plain tape on the box... was my assurance that she was ok :) Minnie was a black/white tux. :)
