This is kinda involved. A homeless lady dumped her pregnant cat and two of her last kittens (both female of course). Well momma had her kittens, and now a stupid neighbor trapped her and dumped her God knows where and refuses to tel me! Well, that is just the start. There were 6, 3 girls, 3 boys, and one of the girls was a sickly runt. They were 4 weeks old when I had to take over. Lost the runt. I am on a fixed income and have a dog and 2 cats of my own.
Anyway, I tried to get the kittens in rescue and adopt the older two as barn cats but that all feel through. Rescues are full. One of the original kittens became prevent and just had her kittens on Mother's Day. Awwww. Two days before she gave birth she allowed the 5 week old babies to nurse. And there in lies my problem. She is so young she is practically ignoring her newborns and allowing the older ones to nurse! Any suggestions? Remember, I'm poor and the rescues here aren't taking any new ones.
