Can you use the frontline for cats on dogs?? I did notice that the cat dosage has a higher concentration of methoprene

Oops! I read it the wrong way around! I'll leave the original answer though.

Yes, you can use cat Frontline on a dog of the same size (or I guess you could use several cat Frontlines on a larger dog but that would get really expensive!). The extra methoprene won't hurt. Dogs are more tolerant to flea meds than cats are.

Yes, if you use the right dosage for the cat's weight. The dog formula does have less methoprene but since it's less it won't hurt a cat, just possibly be slightly less effective in IGR activity (keeping flea eggs from developing).

Standard disclaimer: ONLY Frontline (Plus or regular), Advantage (II or the original if you can find it. Definitely NOT Advantix!!), and Revolution/Stronghold can be used this way. All other brands/formulas are VERY DANGEROUS for cats!!! And looking up/calculating the appropriate dosage for your cat's weight is very important. Note that large dog doses of Revolution/Stronghold have a different concentration than the smaller sizes so the dose needs to be calculated differently.
