Not yet[emoji]128513[/emoji][emoji]128513[/emoji][emoji]128513[/emoji] still very fat and uncomfortable!! The poor girl is leaking milk and cannot get cozy! One thing I wanted to ask about: there is hardly any movement going on in there is that normal because of the lack of space or possibility of incoming labor? There have only been a couple of kicks today so if anyone has any experience with that I would like to know!

She has dropped and the kittens are moving into place.  So not seeing kittens moving is normal and she is getting closer.

From y'all's experience, about how long after lactation starts, the queen "drops", the queen shows nesting behavior, and you can't feel much kitten activity will she go into labor/ give birth? I know she wants to have them but not only do I want to see them as well- she can't fit through the hole on the litterbox anymore!!

Hard to say for sure, but usually not more than a couple of days, if in fact that's what is happening.

Alright TCS I've got some sad news. Molly started labor last night around 12:30-1 in the morning and stared actually birthing around 10 ish this morning. She has had 4 still borns. She's sleeping right now and it feels like there could be another but I'm not sure it could just be her uterus. I don't know what happened all the kittens were fully formed and had all the means for survival... Both me and her owners are absolutely destroyed. Molly keeps licking them and trying to revive them and it's just so sad.

Looking for a possible foster situation for another poster.  5 orphan kittens

How is Molly doing healthwise?  Maybe you can find some orphan kittens in your area for her to nurse.  Check w/ local rescues

I am so sorry to hear that. My deepest condolences to you, her owners and Molly.

I'm no expert, but my Momma cat was not as big and had 4 babies. Maybe there is another (or more) to be born.

Maybe you should take her to the vet to see if there are any more that may need help coming out.

I also second @Handsome Kitty  's proposal of her fostering some orphan babies from a shelter or from someone. This would give those kitties a great opportunity at life and a loving home

Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.

I haven't seen or thought of the orphan kitten situation. She is producing a lot of milk so I think that could be an option for her. I'll look around. She is just trying so hard with those babies I wish she had a chance to be a mama

fostering kittens in this situation does help the mama cat.

I am just so shocked because everyone was moving around normally and looking healthy not even 2 days ago... What could have possibly happened?

Any number of things. An infection perhaps. Getting orphans will not only help a shelter, but will ease Molly's pain. Please start calling, as you were expecting kittens anyway. :)

How long would it take for her milk to dry up? If hate to find a litter or even one orphan only to see that it's too late for her to nurse them
