Cat won't drink from bowl

My cat is having some health challenges right now and though he will drink water from a bowl, I cannot get him to drink Catsure liquid diet from a bowl. He loves the Catsure and will lap it from a syringe (a lot gets wasted) but I cannot get him to drink it from a bowl. I am using ceramic but I don't think that's it. He also drinks water in a glass and a stainless water bowl. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

have tried different sizes and shapes of bowls or even plates? i use a 9 inch ceramic plate for my indoor cat's wet food. she doesn't eat all of it but she licks up all the gravy. 

Have you tried a plate? Sometimes that works easier for cats. If she likes licking it out of a syringe, maybe one of those rabbit waterers you hang in the air would work.  Post us when you find a solution!
